Fellow Ultimate Players,
The time has come! We are currently ready for Summer League sign ups!
Here are the details:
When: June 11 - August 13
Where: Memorial Fields and Livingston Field (note: not MLK)
Times: 7pm or 8:30pm games
Teams: 10 teams AND Beginners League
Cost: $35 - you will get 10 weeks of ultimate, tshirt, disc and end
of league party!
Who: You!
We are also looking for captains. Since we will have 10 teams, we will
need 20 captains. Please respond to Alan Wilson at asw6727@yahoo.com
and/or check yes you will be a captain on the sign up form on our website
at www.ashevilleultimate.org.
We also want to encourage everyone to go out and get some new folks to
sign up for Beginners League. The Beginners League will have the 8:30
game at Memorial each week. Help us spread the love of ultimate and send
some new friends, enemies, co-workers....whoever that has a desire to
learn the game of ultimate! Our lovely Johanna will be running Beginner's
League with the help of some other fine folks.
Ok....so what are you waiting for??? We have less than 2 weeks until
league begins so head to our website now to register!! The registration
will close on Sunday, June 8th.
Lastly, we will have pickup again next week at Memorial from 7ish to
10ish.
